Family History Centers
Family History Centers are branches of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. These centers are open to the public and usually located inside a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) building. Visitors can access records from around the world.

A few notes from Doris Ludwick, LDS Family History Center director:
- We are mask optional now. We supply them and some people still wear them. But we are no longer requiring anybody to wear a mask now.
- We were closing half an hour early, to follow cleaning and disinfection protocols. But we're more relaxed now. We still clean and disinfect, but it mostly happens while the patrons are still working at their stations. So our morning shift hours are back to 10:00 - 2:00. and our evening shift hours are back to 6 - 9.
- AS OF APRIL 2022, we have re-opened our Thursday morning shift again. We are now open all Thursday mornings from 10 to 2.
