Dan Jungclas has over thirty-three years of experience in genealogical research and record preservation. He has comprehensive knowledge in a number of record areas, including the Civil War, WWI, and WWII. Dan specializes in research in the Greater Cincinnati area and the Midwest, German genealogy, and the National Archives.
Civil War records often contain a wealth of genealogical information. This session will explore how to identify Civil War ancestors, both Union and Confederate. Dan will address what records are available, how to locate them, and the stories they reveal about Civil War ancestors.
Registration for the presentation begins on Friday 2 December and will remain open until 9 p.m. on Saturday 7 January. This 60-minute lecture will be presented live via a Zoom webinar, and you must register in advance. The webinar is open to HCGS members as well as non-members.
