Looking for some suggestions on finding the third of three sisters that immigrated to the US in the late 1800's. Have exhausted my known resources on finding this sister's name, birth, death, marriage etc. I can find nothing about her other than what family remembers, which is very little. The names of the two known sisters are Jennie (don't know her formal name) and Mary Schroer. I know they married cousins form Germany (Carl Lammers and Theodore Brackmann). They both lived, raised their families and died in Cincinnati. I don't know where they entered the US or where they traveled to after entering the country or why they came to Cincinnati. I came across a name recently, Franziska (nee Schroer) Eismann in the Cincinnati Freie Presse who died in 1901 and is buried in St. Joseph Cemetery. I haven't been able to find anything more about her from the online records from the cemetery. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I found Frances Eismann in the 1900 Census in Cincinnati showing her born in Ohio.

Check the 1900 Census for other sisters by looking for husbands in the 1900 Census.

The 1900 Census shows the year of immigration (if immigrated) and place of birth.

Go to the hcgsohio.org website  and look at the wills index for the husbands and see if the left a will which may have some information on the wife.

Good Luck.
